Season 1[]
Reverend Seasons is introduced in the first episode of Season 1. He is the local pastor for the First Baptist Church in Locust Grove, Georgia, where the Gemstones had renovated a former Sears location in a mall and turned into another satellite location for their church, Gemstone Ministries. Worried that this new church would siphon off members from his and other local churches, he and other pastors from Locust Grove go to the Gemstones' main sanctuary in Charleston to plead with to not open his new location. Dr. Eli Gemstone then explains what his actual plan is: to attract all the members/believers/followers of the whole Locust Grove community to his church, leading to all four major churches' closure in Locust Grove. He calls Seasons' bluff by continuing with the new location, which leads to Seasons' First Baptist Church dwindling in numbers and leaving their sanctuary building.
Seasons is also linked to a burglary at the new Gemstones location, with a group of burglars breaking into the church and seeking to destroy and vandalize the location. However, this is largely thwarted by Eli, who deduces that the burglars were working for Seasons. However, this is never confirmed by Seasons or Eli. Later, Seasons' church in Locust Grove closes due to dwindling attendance, having been usurped by the new Gemstone location. At the end of the season, Eli tracks down Seasons working at a hardware store. Eli brings Seasons to the Gemstone location in Locust Grove, where he suggests a partnership with Seasons. Seasons, initially skeptical, refuses to work "for" Eli and the Gemstones. However, Eli rebukes this characterization, and suggests that Seasons works *with* Eli and the Gemstones. They shake hands, presumably reaching an accord where Seasons is the new head of the Locust Grove location of Gemstone Ministries.
Reverend Seasons did not make an appearance during season 2.
